All vehicles in our charter fleet meet or exceed the demanding regulations
established by the State of California to be licensed as School Pupil Activity
Buses (SPAB). This classification grants Sundance the approval to move
school age children on field trips and is much stricter than the
standard tour bus maintenance regulations most of our competitors adhere
to. The following is a brief list showing our maintenance cycle:
ROADSIDE MAINTENANCE PROVISIONS - In addition to the necessary cleaning supplies, each vehicle carries a spare tire, extra headlight, all brake diaphragms, fuel filters, fuses, bulbs, A/C brushes and belt, blower belt, alternator belt, tire chains and extra links, tag lock up, chains and run up block, wrench set, flashlight, assorted screwdrivers, starting fluid, extension cord, duct tape, wire, water pump pliers, extra oil, water, and a funnel. Supplemental items for ski charters or other demanding conditions include electric heat gun, propane torch and refill, bungee cords, bus to bus air hose, air protections valve, shovel, governor, air protection filter and gasket, inversion valve, brake valve, and cables. CLEANLINESS STANDARDS - Our on site bus washing facility allows for daily cleaning inside and out, including restroom sanitation. An upholstery shampooing and detailing program is ongoing. We invite comparisons with any other charter company. |
