All Sundance drivers are highly trained, knowledgeable, courteous professionals who perform in a manner consistent with our high standards of safety and customer relations. All of our drivers are fitted with matching uniforms highlighted with the Sundance colors. All drivers carry pagers and two-way Nextel radios to keep in touch with our base of operations as well as each other on multi-bus trips. In addition all permanent status drivers have these credentials:

California Class A or B driver's license with a valid passenger endorsement.
State of California School Pupil Activity Bus (SPAB) Certificate.
Federal Medical Health Certificate every two years.
Mandatory registration in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) "Pull Notice Program" whereas a driver's record is reported to Sundance every six months or sooner should circumstances warrant it.
Mandatory participation in a random drug & alcohol testing program.

Nothing is taken for granted, as evidenced by two state-certified driving instructors on Sundance's staff to implement and accredit a complete in-house training program. All new drivers complete the required training.
